Spring offers plenty of rain and rapid changes in temperature. As they say "April showers bring May flowers".
What to wear:Light jackets, sweaters, t-shirts and sneakers.
Summers are warm. Especially between Late May and August. The daytime highs in July and August average in the upper 80’s °F Thunderstorms are common.
What to wear: Tank tops, shorts, dresses and flip flops or sneakers for outdoor activities. Also light jackets for cool nights.
Fall is the premier season in Connecticut, with mild temperatures and sunny skies throughout October and November. The fall foliage is out of this world.
What to wear:
Sweaters, light jackets, jeans, sweatshirts sneakers and boots.
Winters get very cold. The average is 40 degrees. You will see snow from time to time. Some snow showers can get over a foot of snow!
What to wear: Long sleeve shirts, boots, snow boots, heavy jackets, scarves and gloves.
